Privacy Policy

DadBond is a pregnancy teamwork app for expecting couples. We collect the minimum information needed to create a private pregnancy space, show practical support actions, sync partner-visible activity, restore purchases, and answer support requests.
Information We Collect
DadBond may collect account identifiers, display name, Apple relay email or account email, partner invite email, role, due date, optional baby name, pregnancy status, Weekly Pulse signals, Today action completions, partner feedback, checklist items, appointments, memories, Memory Vault photos or audio that you choose to attach, purchase entitlement status, and privacy-minimal product events.
Private notes, memory bodies, Memory Vault photos or audio, medical concern text, loss-support notes, and partner conflict details are not used for advertising or model training.
Product events are limited to structured app-functionality signals and are not used for advertising or tracking. Raw product events are retained for no more than 90 days; longer-term reporting uses aggregate counts only.
DadBond website forms may collect information you choose to submit for support, early access, or product research. The expecting-couple research screener collects a Reddit username, age confirmation, role and eligibility choices, appointment-window eligibility, partner willingness, and consent choices. It does not ask for names, email addresses, phone numbers, pregnancy dates, symptoms, diagnoses, or other medical details.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate the app, personalize pregnancy-week content, sync a couple's shared workspace, provide restoreable purchase access, maintain safety boundaries, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
Research screener information is used only to determine eligibility and contact selected participants through Reddit. Reddit usernames are not copied into de-identified study evidence, product analytics, advertising, or model training.
Sharing
DadBond does not sell personal data and does not use data for third party advertising or tracking. We use service providers only to run the app, including Supabase for account and synced workspace data, Apple for Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases, and Netlify for the public website and support form.
Retention and Deletion
You can delete DadBond account data in Settings. When you are signed in, DadBond deletes or anonymizes synced account data before local device cleanup. We remove or anonymize private profile data, private notes, private memories, and stored Memory Vault media owned by the deleted account. Partner-visible household history may be retained only where needed to keep the remaining partner's space coherent or to meet purchase, refund, security, or legal obligations.
Research recruitment submissions are deleted after recruitment and participant reconciliation are complete, and no later than 30 days after the study closes. Participants may request earlier deletion through the support page using the Reddit username submitted to the screener.
Medical Boundary
DadBond is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency triage, contraception advice, medication advice, or a replacement for a doctor, midwife, nurse, doula, emergency service, or other healthcare provider. For urgent or worrying symptoms, contact a healthcare provider or local emergency services.
